The Loose Cannons
Live Performance (01/20/2006)

The second leg of my trip on 01/20/2006 took me out the Someplace Else in Saginaw. I got out there around 10:00 PM and when I walked in the bar it was slammed. Matt, Mike & Kyle were rocking out on a tune that had the floor packed. I had to wait until the end of the song to get in the door. As I walked in, Matt just looked at me and smiled. And I had the feeling that the night was just beginning.

Matt Douglas has put together a great trio of musicians that is called The Loose Cannons.
This is the line-up:
Matt Douglas (Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Vocals)
Mike Adomeit (Bass Guitar, Vocals)
Kyle Shea (Drums & Percussion, Vocals)

It is always a pleasure to go out and see these guys as I have known them for quite some time and we are all like family members. And yes they got me up to play a few tunes, which I would never turn down. Matt has been doing several projects around the Tri-City area and the Loose Cannons are one of those projects.

It was fun to see the whole bar reacting to the energy that was being unleashed on the crowd that night. The highlight of the evening was when the song that the bar is noted for was played. If you know that bar, you will know that they love to hear Mustang Sally – originally performed by Wilson Pickett. People got up and started dancing on top of the bar like a lineup of gogo dancers , only fully dressed. I was impressed with the way the Loose Cannons kept the crowd hyped and moving all the time I was there.

I would not hesitate to recommend seeing the Loose Cannons if you are out and about and want to see three cool rock dawgs having a good time doing what the love to do, .. Live Music and Entertainment! I just wish I had a little more time to stick around and see more.

Matt Douglas Plays rhythm, lead and slide guitar, and has a variety of good old tunes from the late 60’s to the mid 80’s

Michael Adomeit Plays bass guitar and has become an impressive singer. Has a strong set of vocals and loves to switch between songs with out a breath of hesitance.

Kyle Shea Plays a mean set of cans with a great sense of timing and has a wide range of vocal abilities. He is a fine drummer and a good friend to all!
